We believe that financial and environmental performance can co-exist and that products can be both economical and ecologically sound.

Our R&D investments and programs include eco-goals, which specifically target the design of more environmentally sensitive, energy-efficient systems and processes. For example, the unique chamber configuration on our Etch tool not only enhances on-wafer performance; it also increases power efficiency and reduces chemistry consumption. By allowing two wafers to be processed simultaneously in a narrow gap environment, gas consumption is reduced by up to 50%. Moreover, the RF system was designed for direct feed with high efficiency which reduces power dissipation by as much as 30%. The tool is equipped with features that allow it to revert to “idle” mode when not in use. This design feature further reduces gas flow and cuts power consumption.

We strive to reduce waste generation and we’re committed to the disposal of all waste through safe and responsible methods.
